The AA Texas Translation Service provides real-time audio translation between English and Spanish for telephone conversations. The Service is designed to facilitate communication within the Alcoholics Anonymous community in Texas.

The Service includes:

• Real-time speech-to-text transcription
• Automatic language translation
• Text-to-speech audio playback
• Call bridging between two parties

3. User Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for its intended purpose of facilitating AA-related communication
• Provide accurate information when required
• Respect the confidentiality and anonymity principles of Alcoholics Anonymous
• Not record or share conversations without consent of all parties
• Not use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Engage in any illegal activities
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Transmit spam, solicitations, or advertisements
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to access the Service

5. Service Availability and Limitations

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be available at all times without interruption
• Translations will be 100% accurate or error-free
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• All technical issues will be immediately resolved

The Service uses automated translation technology. While we strive for accuracy, automated translations may contain errors or inaccuracies. Users should be aware that:

• Technical terms, slang, or regional dialects may not translate perfectly
• Background noise or unclear speech may affect transcription quality

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

11. No Professional Advice

The Service is a communication tool only and does not provide:

• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Legal advice or counseling
• Professional mental health services
• Emergency services

12. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers (Twilio, Microsoft Azure, Deepgram) for certain functionality. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services.
